GIPHY support for TikTok officially added

TikTok, the world’s most widely used short video sharing platform, continues to add new features for its users.

With the new update to the app this week, a partnership is being formed with GIPHY, which was recently acquired by Meta (Facebook). This new update, which will allow users to add new sound effects for music and animals along with moving visuals and upload videos in 1080p quality, has been introduced to both iOS and Android users.

With the new update, TikTok video makers using green screen will be able to add any images from the GIPHY library to the background.

Following the partnership with Meta, TikTok will now allow users to automatically correct these gestures on the green screen with the visual enhancement feature. After recording or uploading a video, the video can be optimized in both color and light by clicking the development button on the right panel.

Another feature that comes with the update is the new fun sound effects offered by TikTok… Users will be able to change their voices with different sound filters using musical and animal sound effects. Finally, TikTok users will now be able to upload HD videos at 1080p (1920×1080 pixels).
