New wave concern grows in Japan outbreak

In Japan, 22,045 new cases of corona virus have been detected in the last 24 hours, while the quarantine period applied for 14 days has been reduced to 10 days.

Infections have increased by about 15,000 in the last 3 days in Japan,where the number of cases has exploded in recent days due to the Omicron mutation of Covid-19.

According to Japan’s Ministry of Health and local governments, 22,045 new cases have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours. The latest development brought the total Number Of Cases to 1,834,352, with 11 more people killed, bringing the death toll to 18,439. There were 6,239 cases on January 11, 13,224 on January 12 and 18,859 yesterday, raising concerns about a new wave. TIME FOR RATIONING REDUCED TO 10 DAYS

Japan’s government has decided to shorten the isolation period, which is essential for individuals in close contact with infected individuals, so that the unavoidable rise in the number of cases does not have a negative impact on business life and public services. Following an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Japan, a quasi-state of emergency was imposed in Okinawa, Yamaguchi and Hiroshima provinces as of January 11, and the measure was reported to last until January 31st.
