Shibetoshi Nakamoto, one of the creators of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, interpreted the name change as an anagram to refer to the word “Elder Doge”.
Anagram; means relocating the letters of a word or group of words to create another word. Nakamoto claims that Elon Musk actually created the name Lorde Edge, derived from the letters in that word, to refer to the word ‘Elder Doge’.
It’s not the first time Elon Musk has changed his social media account. The billionaire, who posted a photo of Bitcoin on his Twitter profile in February, led to the cryptocurrency’s rise. He also intrigued his followers by adding a note that read, “I just want to start a spark in your heart.”
Bitcoin, which was $51,000 before Elon Musk’s move, then rose to $56,000. The current value of the popular cryptocurrency is $65,000. BTC, which has a market value of $1,238,446,954,579, has been on an upward trend recently.
