Referring to the US written response to Russia’s security proposals, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that “there is no positive response from the United States on the main issues”, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin will decide the next steps in the future.
Moscow is experiencing rush hour after the UNITED States and NATO delivered their response to Russia’soffer of security guarantees in writing last night.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters that the United States and NATO had submitted a written response, adding that “after inter-unit coordination, we will report to President Vladimir Putin and President Putin will decide our next steps.”
Lavrov said that they had not received a positive response to the main demands in the draft submitted by Russia. However, there is no positive response to the main issue.”
Asked by reporters whether the U.S. response would be made public, Lavrov said he and the United States and their allies agreed to keep the response secret.
