Germany stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Construction and Software sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX fell 0.11%, while the MDAX index fell 0.11%, and the TecDAX index fell 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the DAX were Commerzbank AG (ETR:CBKG), which rose 3.32% or 0.37 points to trade at 11.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Adidas AG (ETR:ADSGN) was up 2.39%, or 3.30 points, at 141.66 and Deutsche Bank AG (ETR:DBKGn) was up 2.16%, or 0.25 points, at 11.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session, BAYER AG (ETR:BAYGN) fell 3.91% or 2.29 points to trade at 56.29 at the close. Sartorius AG Vz (ETR:SATG_p) was down 3.36% or 14.00 points to trade at 402.60, while Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co (ETR:FMEG) fell 3.35% or 1.28 points to 36.92. is being traded.
The top performer Aixtron SE (ETR:AIXGn) traded under MDAX was up 12.50% at 29.08, while Sixt SE (ETR:SIXG) was up 5.78% at 128.10. Delivery Hero AG (ETR:DHER) was up 2.03% to close at 38.19.
The worst performer, Evotec AG (ETR:EVTG), was down 4.81% to trade at 17.00. TAG Immobilien AG (ETR:TEGG) was down 2.71% to trade at 7.54 while Carl Zeiss Medi (ETR:AFXG) was down 2.55% to close at 126.30.
The best performer Aixtron SE (ETR:AIXGn) on TecDAX was up 12.50% at 29.08, while SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92G) was up 0.75% at 73.90. Nordex SE (ETR:NDXG) was up 0.64% to close at 14.23.
The worst performer, Evotec AG (ETR:EVTG), was down 4.81% to trade at 17.00. Sartorius AG Vz (ETR:SATG_p) was down 3.36% to trade at 402.60, while CompuGroup Medical AG (ETR:COP1n) was down 2.98% to close at 45.00.
While the number of depreciating stocks in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange was 363, those that gained value were determined as 305. In addition, 91 stocks remained stable.

DAX New Volatility, the implied measure of volatility for the DAX, fell 1.60% to 19.12 points.
Gold Futures for April delivery gained 0.68%, or 12.40, to trade at $1.00 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, Crude Oil WTI Futures for April delivery rose 2.10%, or 1.59%, to trade at $77.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent Oil Futures for May delivery rose 1.82%, or 1.49, to trade at $83.53 a barrel.
EUR/USD is trading at 1.06, holding steady 0.13%, while EUR/GBP is trading at 0.88, holding steady at 0.23%.
Dollar Index Futures were up 0.06% at 104.69.
