Committee investigating bloody U.S. Congressional raid calls Ivanka Trump to testify
The House Of Representatives Committee investigating the bloody U.S. Congressional raid on January 6, 2021, called Ivanka Trump, the daughter and adviser to former U.S. President Donald Trump, to testify and ask her to cooperate voluntarily in the investigation.
TheHouse Special Committee investigating the bloody Congressional raid by former U.S. President Donald Trump supporters on January 6, 2021 in the United States issued a letter asking Ivanka Trumpto cooperate with the investigation, urging Ivanka Trump, Trump’s daughter and adviser, to testify. “The committee wants to know the details of the january 6 conversation between former U.S. President Trump and then-Vice President Mike Pence that you witnessed,” the committee investigating the January 6 congressional raid last year wrote to Ivanka Trump, calling for testimony.
Trump has become the first member of the Trump family to be called to testify to the committee about the investigation into the Congressional Raid.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the United States, far-right groups and Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, where a session was held to confirm the results of the presidential election won by U.S. President Joe Biden on November 3, 2020. Five people, including one policeman, were killed and 140 wounded in clashes between protesters and security forces. Former President Trump, who is on trial for inciting public rebellion, was cleared in a Senate vote in February last year. Former president Trump became the first president to be tried twice for impeachment.
