Russia President Vladimir Putin said after a meeting with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto that he wants to meet urgently with the United States and NATO to resolve rising tensions between Ukraine and Russia. WE MUST SIT DOWN WITH THE UNITED STATES AND NATO IMMEDIATELY
“We must immediately sit down with the United States and NATO on the Ukraine issue for the security of our country,” Putin said, reiterating that they want a ‘guarantee of security’ from NATO.
Russia’s demands include halting NATO’s expansion to the east and halting sending troops to the Ukrainian border.
