Will there be new Covid-19 restrictions? Europe is waiting for these two names to speak

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to announce new restrictions due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in their countries.

More than 122,000 daily cases were reported in the UK on 24 December. Nationwide, the death toll was 137; 707,306 cases have been identified and 810 people have died in the last 7 days. Uk media said Prime Minister Johnson would review hospital data linked to Covid-19 and make a decision based on it before announcing the new restrictions. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron is said to announce new restrictions this evening. More than 104,000 cases were reported in the country on December 25th, the highest number of daily cases since the outbreak began. Macron was quoted as saying he would meet with health experts and make statements to the press after the meeting.
