Two new films in the Mission Impossible franchise have been postponed once again!

Films 7 and 8 of the Mission Impossible series, starring actor Tom Cruise, have been postponed once again.

Mission: Impossible, which came into our lives in the second half of the 1990s, celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. Mission Impossible’s adventure on the cinema screen, which was previously said to see its seventh film in 2022 and its 7 eighth film in 2023, has been postponed for another year.

Mission Impossible series postponed by 1 year

Two new films in the Mission Impossible franchise have been postponed once again due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic conditions, according to the film’s producers and publishers Paramount Pictures and Skydance. The company officially announced that the 7th film in the series will be released on June 14, 2023,and the 8th film will be released on June 28, 2024. The release dates for these two more films were almost a year ago.

Little is known about the plot of the new films, but a few months ago various images were leaked from the film set as Cruise tried to film an incredibly detailed and dangerous scene for Mission: Impossible 7.

The famous actor opened a parachute after a free fall from the top of a tall skyscraper and managed to land safely. Of course, since all this is scenes that can be considered ordinary for the Mission Impossible series, it doesn’t mean much about the subjects of the new films.

Although it may seem no surprise that the films have been postponed given the Omicron variant, in the last 6 months we have seen very few films postponed due to the virus and pandemic conditions, and many of these films are sequels to the series produced by Paramount… In this sense, it is also a question of whether there are any problems in the company.
