Mortal Kombat 12, leaked ‘by mistake’!

Mortal Kombat 12, thought to have been developed by NetherRealm Studios, may have been created by an employee’s carelessness.

Developed in collaboration with NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros, the Mortal Kombat series has long been known as the world’s most fan-fanned fighting series, along with Street Fighter.

The 11th game in the series, which was last released in 2019, was recently added to Microsoft’s Game Pass system. With the end of the game’s DLC planning and no more new content added, the new game was eagerly awaited. A NetherRealm Studios employee has confirmed the development of Mortal Kombat 12 in a rather careless move.

Mortal Kombat 11, released in 2019, is gradually coming to an end in ecological life. The game, which is about to turn three, confirmed in recent months that it would no longer receive any more content with its latest expansion. Although there has been speculation in recent months that NetherRealm Studios will make a fighting game about Marvel characters, those whispers have not been confirmed. It seems that the Mortal Kombat series is once again on a path to hosting DC characters with its new game.

NetherRealms Studios executive Jonathan Andersen, who posted an image via his official Instagram account last year, showed his desk filled with several posters reminiscent of the Mortal Kombat and Injustice series (image above). But curious fans zoomed in on the monitors that appeared in a small part of the image, with the ‘MK 12 Mast….’ located at the top right. They’ve identified his writing.

Of course, there is no doubt that MK 12 is short for Mortal Kombat 12. However, it is not known what the rest of it tells. However, the monitors also mention Reptile, one of the most beloved characters in the series. The fact that this character is not in the MK11 in any way may also indicate that he will return to the series and become one of mortal kombat 12’s playable fighters.
