Interesting claim for Galaxy S22 Ultra main camera
Samsung is preparing for the introduction of the Galaxy S22 family. The most ambitious member of the family, the S22 Ultra, is on the agenda with a new main camera feature.
A new leak is emerging every day for samsung’s new flagship series S22, which is expected to be unveiled in February. The S22 Ultra, which will delight Note lovers with its design and pen, is here with a new main camera feature. An interesting claim has emerged for the model, which is expected to come with a much better camera.
Will the Galaxy S22 Ultra main camera offer macro support?
Samsung has been featuring self-made sensors codenamed HM, especially in its flagship series, for nearly two years. According to a newly revealed claim, Samsung will feature macro shooting on the main camera. However, there is talk of some kind of software support for this macro shooting feature.
This mode, which is included in lines of code allegedly belonging to the S22 Ultra noticed on a Korean site, is similar to the macro mode in Oppo. If this leak is true, there’s a chance that this software support will work retroactively.
However, the S22 Ultra will feature a more software-advanced ISOCELL HM3 sensor. The Ice Universe account, famous for its accurate leaks on Twitter, will also be much better in terms of color and brightness with the S22 Ultra’s new AI software, the 108 Megapixel HM3 sensor.

Ice Universe even revealed that it has seen the first examples of the S22 Ultra showing photo quality. However, the user explained that he could not share these examples.
Galaxy S22 Ultra and its emerging features
Many features of the smartphone have leaked so far. On the display side comes a curved AMOLED panel that can deliver 6.8-inch QHD+ (1440 x 3200) 1800 nits of brightness. On the processor side are the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 incorporates 1 3.0 GHz Cortex X2 and 3 2.5 GHz Cortex A710 cores for high performance. The Cortex A510, known as the efficiency core and with low power consumption, operates at 1.8 GHz.
The Exynos 2200 has a core running at 2.5 GHz clock speed, three performance cores running at 2.52 GHz, and four efficiency cores running at 1.73 GHz clock speed. Both processors were produced by Samsung with a 4 nm processor architecture.
The smartphone will come with two different RAM options, 12 GB and 16 GB, while on the storage side there will be 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB options.
Powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W charging speeds that can be charged via USB-C, the device will run the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 interface as soon as it comes out of the box.
