Blizzard, acquired by Microsoft last week, is one of the world’s largest gaming studios. A new game is coming from the studio, which has been successful with such productions as Overwatch and World of Warcraft, especially when it comes to online gaming. Although the firm has been plagued by legal charges and is in the tying period, it is surprisingly developing a game. The company, which has been stagnant since the release of Overwatch, does not seem to have hesitated despite the acquisition process.

The announcement of the new game was made directly on Blizzard’s blog page. This announcement is in the form of a job advertisement, but it tells us that a survival game is coming.

Blizzard advertises for new game

When we look at the gaming companies that can still operate today, it’s hard to see as old as Blizzard. The company, which has been in operation for 30 years, has had some turcus at times, but in the last few years it may have surpassed the largest. We’ve seen repeated harassment allegations coming to the roofing company Activision Blizzard. There were even company-wide protests and the company’s CEO being asked to step down.

Blizzard, however, is gearing up for a new game. Instead, they chose to eat the bread of existing brands such as World of Warcraft. They already have addictive WoW running on a monthly subscription, so they even earn an income from game development.
