PlayStation Studios has acquired God of War’s studio!
PlayStation Studios continues to buy new studios. This time he bought Valkyrie Entertainment, the studio of the popular game God of War
Sonyacquired Valkyrie Entertainmentfor PlayStation Studios. PlayStation Studios president Hermen Hulstshared this information on Friday. Valkrie Entertainmentis located in Seattle, Washington. The studio previously served as a support studio for games such as State of Decay 2, God of War 2018, Valorant and Halo Infinite.
Valkyrie Entertainmentis currently working to support sony Santa Monica’supcoming Production of God of War Ragnarok.
Valkyrie Entertainment continues its support mission
Hulstsaid in a Twitter post that Valkyrie Entertainmentwill continue its support mission. In addition, it shows other teams that it will help develop games for PS5 and PC instead of pioneering development.
New games on the way in addition to God of War Ragnarok
In addition to God of War Ragnarok, Sonyhas first-party productions scheduled for release in 2022, including Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7. This is Sony’s fifth acquisition to develop PlayStation Studiosin 2021. The company also acquired Housemarque, Firesprite, Nixxes Software and Bluepoint Games.
